At the CNRS, the fundamental values of professional ethics, scientific integrity and ethics form the bedrock of our research activities and the way we view our responsibility to society.
Protection of personal data
Part of the CNRS’s mission is to ensures the protection of personal data in accordance with the ethical and responsible practices the organisation promotes within the scientific community. In compliance with European Regulations on Data Protection, the CNRS’s Data Protection Officer is responsible for data protection conformity within the organisation.

The CNRS Foundation
In 2019, the CNRS Foundation was created with the mission of supporting ambitious and unrestricted research. The objective is to support scientific work through patronage, donations or legacies. This means that anybody and everybody can contribute to expanding knowledge for the benefit of all.
